Character Study: Adine

I've been trying to visualize this lady for a while.  She's the main antagonist of a graphic novel I'm currently planning.  It's always great exploring the personalities of smart, manipulative characters!

Kaiyo and Syril Posters

My two favorite brothers!  I wanted to try something more like cover art--sort of half graphic and half scene.  They ended up looking good as printed posters, so I'm printing 'em out and sticking them on my wall somewhere.  Painting all the material details was great practice.  Pencil and Photoshop.

Dye

I did this illustration for an art showcase at my school.
The woman is a character of mine, in a story moment.  I won't go into the full tale, but for this I wanted to show that her dyeing her hair represents a tragic loss of identity.

Commission: Armor Designs

The commissioner asked for two soldiers in armor, from same country--but different time periods.
They're from a fantasy setting, but he had influences in mind:  The left one is drawn mainly from 10th century Europe, and the right a mix of 16th-century Europe and feudal Japanese.  Dragons were to be an overlying motif.

His writings on this country are over here at his Deviantart account: http://vassal-of-bahamut.deviantart.com/

Portfolio

I made a separate blog for my work that is more organized and easier to navigate.
I'll still update on this blog, but for my portfolio, please go here:  http://jennybachportfolio.blogspot.com/

Olympics Short Film Designs

I'm currently working with a team from school on a short film about a little girl and her imaginary Olympics.  Here's my design for the character and some colorscript panels.
