October Illustrations

Some FireCracker Weekly work for the October issue.  Illustrating articles about the importance of keeping track of earnings in a notebook,  pet visits to senior homes, and the history of vampires.

  

GALATEA: Character Portraits

  Lately I've been seriously developing this story as an online graphic novel.  As a part of character creation, I drew out a bunch of these portrait busts to make sure each cast member has his/her own unique look and distinctive features.
    The main character is Corin (the girl with the orange headband), and main/supporting cast is all mixed together here.
    1st set= Corin and her family
    2nd set= Crew of the Lady Epiphania
    3rd set= from the city

     I also used these to make family trees.  Deciding which features to share between parents/children/siblings is a fun challenge.
